In 2023, the proliferation of AI led to a marked increase in problematic blog and social media posts regarding the application of behavioural sciences to marketing and user experience design. Many of these blog posts were generated for SEO purposes, with minimal to no review, and cite false sources, discuss outdated/unreplicated studies, and over-simplify a complicated topic. To counteract this, we will be posting updated versions of the notes we use. These aren't summarized blog posts. Rather, they provide you with key information and considerations, hypothetical examples, seminal studies, and important references for further research.
